Let’s Go On An Adventure

Nestled in 11 acres of rolling countryside, Active Kids Adventure Park is a five-star visitor attraction based in Stanley, offering families an action-packed day of adventure play.

Active Kids

In 2023, a brand-new indoor adventure play facility was opened, and more recently, in 2025, an enhanced outdoor offering was introduced with a dedicated under 7’s area and reimagined play fort. All these additions promote sensory activities and have been designed with a child’s development in mind, encouraging imaginative role play and teamwork to independent play and building confidence.

Active Kids is a proud member of Scottish Agritourism, which promotes the diversification of rural businesses throughout Scotland. Active Kids is part of a wider rural business that prides itself on being able to offer an authentic rural experience.

Since its opening in 2005, Active Kids has been primarily an outdoor adventure park. However, the Cadogan family acquired Active Kids in 2015 and extensively developed the property to create a year-round offering to meet the local community’s needs.
